Terms and Conditions

This agreement applies as between you, the User of this Website and Lead with Coaching Institute, the owner(s) of this Website. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Website.  If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately.

No part of this Website is intended to constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer and Our acceptance of that offer is deemed to occur upon Our sending a confirmation email to you indicating that your order has been accepted.

1. THESE TERMS

  • 1.1 These terms and conditions set out the basis on which we, Lead With Coaching Institute, provide our services, including but not limited to courses, events, programmes, resources, and digital content (collectively referred to as “Services”).
  • 1.2 Please read these terms carefully before booking any of our Services. These terms inform you who we are, how we will provide Services to you, how you and we may change or terminate the contract, what to do if there is a problem, and other important information.

2. INFORMATION ABOUT US AND HOW TO CONTACT US

  • 2.1 We are Lead With Coaching Institute, located at 14 Castle Court, Lismore, Co Waterford, P51 HK84.
  • 2.2 You can contact us about any aspect of these terms or the Services by emailing us at institute@leadwithcoaching.org. Our office hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Dublin/London time), Monday to Friday (excluding Irish public holidays).
  • 2.3 If we need to contact you, we will do so by telephone or in writing using the contact details you provided when booking.
  • 2.4 By making a booking with us, you confirm that you are over the age of 18 and have read and agreed to these terms.

2.5 Definitions:

  • “Booking” means your reservation of a course, programme, or event with us.
  • “Course Materials” or “Resources” refer to materials provided for any course, programme, or event, which may be in physical or digital format.
  • “Event” refers to any event that you have booked to attend.
  • “Course” refers to any course that you have booked to attend.
  • “Programme” refers to any programme that you have booked to attend.
  • “Services” refer to all events, programmes, courses, and related activities, including seminars, workshops, lectures, or other tutoring services provided by us.
  • “Website” refers to www.leadwithcoaching.org.
  • “Writing” includes emails. When we use the terms “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes email communication.

3. OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU

  • 3.1 Your booking is considered accepted, and a binding contract is formed between you and us, only when we email you a confirmation of acceptance.
  • 3.2 If we are unable to accept your booking, we will inform you and will not charge you. This might be due to the unavailability of the event, changes in the event, or errors in the price or description.

4. OUR SERVICES

4.1 Courses, Programmes, and Events – General Terms

  • 4.1.1 The venue and timing of all courses, whether virtual or in-person, are as specified on our website.
  • 4.1.2 Resources will be provided as digital content and will be made available on the day of the course or as necessary.
  • 4.1.3 We reserve the right to provide such trainers, facilitators, guest presenters, and mentor coaches as we deem suitable for hosting the events and may substitute any of them with other qualified persons at our discretion.
  • 4.1.4 You may be required to complete an online registration or attendance confirmation for each event.
  • 4.1.5 You must arrive on time for all sessions. Hosts may refuse entry if you do not arrive at the stipulated start time.
  • 4.1.6 We operate a zero-tolerance policy regarding inappropriate behaviour, including abusive, violent, or unethical conduct. We reserve the right to refuse service or entry to any participant whose behaviour is deemed unacceptable and may remove such participants without refund or liability.
  • 4.1.7 You agree to maintain strict confidentiality, especially during group discussions, and to adhere to responsible coaching practices, following the International Coach Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.

4.2 Digital Content and Online Services

  • 4.2.1 You are expected to ensure that the course or event meets your needs before booking. We do not guarantee that you will achieve any specific results or obtain any particular qualification.
  • 4.2.2 Your account information and access to digital content must not be shared with any third party.
  • 4.2.3 You may print course materials for personal use only. You must not distribute, sell, or transfer the course materials to any third party without our prior written consent.

5. COMPLETION AND CERTIFICATION

  • 5.1 For programmes and events accredited with ICF as Accredited Coaching Education or Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs), completion of all requirements, including self-reflection, observed sessions, mentor coaching, attendance, questionnaires, and essays, must occur within one year from the start date to obtain an ICF-accredited certificate.
  • 5.2 Lecture content belongs to the speakers, and recordings will only be available for a maximum of 18 months after delivery, subject to GDPR obligations.
  • 5.3 To receive a Certificate of Completion, you must meet all the requirements with your cohort or within one year of your start date. Failure to meet these requirements will result in ineligibility for certification.

6. YOUR RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES

  • 6.1 If you wish to make changes to a booking, please contact us. We will inform you if the change is possible and provide any related adjustments to the price, fees, timing, or other necessary modifications. If changes cannot be accommodated or are unacceptable to you, see Clause 9 for your rights to end the contract.

7. OUR RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES

7.1 We may make changes:

  • (a) To comply with changes in relevant laws, regulatory requirements, or guidelines, including those from the International Coach Federation or other bodies.
  • (b) To implement minor technical adjustments and improvements, such as addressing security threats. These changes will not affect your use of the Services.
  • (c) To adjust the start or end times of events or courses.
  • (d) To change the speakers, trainers, or facilitators at any event or course.

7.2 Significant Changes and Updates

  • 7.2.1 We may change the date of an event and will notify you if this occurs.
  • 7.2.2 We may make changes to reflect updates in qualification requirements or Services following legal or regulatory changes.
  • 7.2.3 We may change the delivery of Services, including transitioning from in-person to virtual delivery.
  • 7.2.4 We may update digital content following legal or regulatory changes.

8. PROVIDING THE SERVICES

  • 8.1 The dates for events, digital content, online courses, and live virtual courses are as listed on our website.
  • 8.2 We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our Services are delayed by an event outside our control, we will inform you and take steps to minimize the delay's impact. We will not be liable for such delays.

8.3 Reasons We May Suspend the Supply of Services

We may suspend Services to:
  • (a) Address technical issues or implement technical changes.
  • (b) Update Services to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
  • (c) Make necessary changes to Services (see Clause 7).
  • (d) Due to non-payment of fees by you.

9. YOUR RIGHTS TO END THE CONTRACT

9.1 You may end your contract with us at any time, depending on what you have booked and the notice period provided:

  • (a) If your booking is misdescribed, you may have a legal right to end the contract or request a re-performance of the service or a refund (see Clause 13).
  • (b) If you wish to end the contract due to our actions or changes we have informed you about, see Clause 9.2.
  • (c) If you have changed your mind, see Clause 9.3.
  • (d) For other reasons, see Clause 9.3.

9.2 Ending the Contract for Specific Reasons

You may end the contract immediately if:
  • (a) We notify you of a significant change to the booking or terms which you do not accept (see Clause 7).
  • (b) We notify you of an error in the price or description, and you do not wish to proceed.
  • (c) There is a risk of significant delay in the supply of our Services due to events outside our control.
  • (d) We suspend Services or notify you of a suspension for more than one month.

9.3 Your Right to Change Your Mind

  • 9.3.1 For multi-session events or programmes, including professional development programmes, you have 14 days from the date of booking to cancel and receive a full refund. After 14 days, cancellations are non-refundable. Once the programme has started, no refunds will be issued, even if you have not accessed the materials.

10. HOW TO END THE CONTRACT WITH US (INCLUDING IF YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND)

  • 10.1 To end the contract, contact us by phone or email at institute@leadwithcoaching.org. Our office hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Dublin/London time), Monday to Friday (excluding Irish public holidays).
  • 10.2 Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 14 days, subject to any applicable deductions as outlined in the cancellation terms.

11. OUR RIGHTS TO END THE CONTRACT

11.1 We may terminate the contract if you violate its terms. We may do so by written notice if:

  • (a) You fail to make payment when due and do not remedy this within 5 days of our reminder.
  • (b) You breach any of these terms and conditions.
  • (c) You fail to meet attendance requirements.

11.2 If we terminate the contract due to your breach, we will refund any unused services, deducting costs incurred due to the breach.

11.3 We may withdraw the Services, giving at least 10 working days’ notice, and will refund any unprovided Services.

12. HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

12.1 We will use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy (https://www.leadwithcoaching.org/privacy/).

12.2 By booking with us, you agree to the use of your personal data to:

  • (a) Supply our Services to you.
  • (b) Process your payments.
  • (c) Provide you with information on similar services, unless you opt out.

13. OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS

  • 13.1 Special offers and discounts are subject to withdrawal without notice.
  • 13.2 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. You may end the contract within 10 days of our notice if you do not agree with the transfer and receive a refund for any unprovided Services.
  • 13.3 This contract is between you and us. No other person has the right to enforce any of its terms.
  • 13.4 You may transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to another person only with our written consent before the event or course start date.
  • 13.5 If any provision of these terms is found to be illegal, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
  • 13.6 A delay in enforcing these terms does not prevent us from enforcing them later.
